Ring Main Unit (RMU) is an SF6 gas-insulated distribution board that combines all medium voltage functions to provide connection, supply, and protection of transformers in an open ring or radial network.
It is produced for high voltage levels of 12kV, 24kV, and 36kV. It meets all medium-voltage secondary distribution requirements in more complex network configurations, including renewable energy sources. It is designed in accordance with IEC 62271-1 standard used in general operating conditions for indoor control boards.
It is usually preferred in brand selection with Schneider and Siemens RMU models in projects, which are accepted all over the world and meet the required standards.
